THE FOUR P’S OF PUBLIC SPEAKING

This module is designed to gain confidence within yourself so you can bring the best of you to the stage.

This module discusses the fundamentals of writing a good presentation, pitch or speech & allows you to practice

This module highlights the work needed between the text preparation & the stage to help combat nerves

YOUR ESTEEMED COACH, LOUISE HOUGHTON

Louise Houghton is an established British on-air host, broadcast journalist, producer, actress and voiceover artist.

She has a reputation working internationally on film, TV, online and as a Live Event MC and moderator. These include anything from award shows and gala dinners to press conferences and launch events. She is best known for her 7 years hosting DWTV’s daily live lifestyle magazine show, EUROMAXX.

Currently based in LA, Louise can be seen hosting America's Next Investment on CNBC.

Her credits include work with Universal, Netflix, BBC and ESPN and she worked on 3 movie projects last year.

About Louise 
By the end of this course you will have...

  • By completing this course, users can expect to overcome stage fright and develop the confidence to speak in front of any audience with poise and authority.

  • Users will learn strategies to write an engaging speech with time to practice in the group.

  • From visualisation to preparation, users will gain valuable skills they are guaranteed to use to prepare for all future public speaking endeavours.

  • Being prepared both physically and vocally are key when wanting to do a good job on stage so users will come away with a practice to prepare the body for public speaking.

  • When only 7% of what is heard on stage is verbal, users will come away with warm, open, communicative body language to elevate their speech and keep audiences engaged.

  • Having someone to practice with is imperative to help with nerves, users will have the opportunity to bring their text to sessions and also book additional one on one sessions to focus on their whole speech/presentation.

FREE MEDITATION

Louise is a qualified reiki master, trained in transendental meditation and practices Vipassana meditation. With this knowledge and her skills in public speaking Louise created a few meditations to help calm nerves before a presentation.

Using breathwork, visualisation, affirmations and gratitude, this meditation is designed to help calm your nerves before a presentation or speech. This can be done in advance, leading up to the event and even right before - though I do have a 3 min meditation designed for side stage.

If you can, find somewhere quiet to sit and close your eyes.

These meditations are on the insight timer website. If you can’t access it please let me know and I will send it to you directly. Please do leave a comment or feedback on the site.
